Experience serving chronically ill patients, including assisting with daily living activities and household tasks. Patient and highly compassionate.
I work in a fast-paced environment taking care of and helping residents. I serve their meal, feed patients that are unable to feed themselves, help them do things they cant encourage them to do what they can, and I also work with hospice patients. I keep them clean and repositioned and report to the nurse any changes or signs of distress. I also chart on the required system to keep track of their ADLs, input, and outputs. I love what I do because I am able to help others keep their dignity and help them have confidence helping them fix their hair when they can't anymore or do their makeup just anything extra that makes them feel good.
I went on maternity leave and after having my baby I stayed home with her until Aug2018 and instead of returning to CarDon I returned to my previous employer.
