I started my telecommunications career in the U.S. Air Force in 1991 during Desert Storm. I served for 5 years achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and had 9 men in my charge in which we installed/maintained telephone and fiber optic systems worldwide.
After my service, I was hired at Adelphia/Comcast Cable as an installer in which I progressed quickly to service/repair and then to maintenance in which I have been for the last 13 years.
My total tenure with Comcast to date is going on 17 years.

Maintaining and repairing of ALL aspects of a CATV plant including construction, coax splicing, fiber splicing, CLI, FCC testing, safety procedures and customer interaction.
Repaired customer service issues including troubleshooting from house to trunk amplifiers. Also serving as on-call technician.
Installed customers to bring services into their home starting with the first digital converters to come to the Stuart system.
Installed and maintained communication systems worldwide upgrading antiquated telephone systems to fiber optic networks.
