Dear Mr. Sharon,
I am writing this letter in response to the classified ad you placed in Job Seeker Weekly for an experienced detective.I have an Associate’s degree in Criminal Behavior. I am also a former City, State City police officer trained in investigation and location.
For the last three years I have worked as a bail agent and detective for Company Name using my skills to investigate and track bail skippers. I founded Friendly Hands Investigations in 2004 before selling it to Larrimore in 2011. I strive to take my skill and provide honest effective results to every investigation. Fortunately I have the temperament for what can be both a tedious and stressful profession. This means having the patience for stakeouts for dealing with difficult individuals that may have information you need and maintaining relationships in all the right places Ð especially in law enforcement. It also means knowing any minute a situation can turn on a dime Ð even becoming physical Ð and having the training to handle the situation. As a detective I have done it all while being non-judgmental professional courtesy and safe.
I believe my background and education make me an excellent choice for your detective position. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet and discuss this in detail.
Best Regards,
Mallory Pineda
