Step 2: Writing Your Skills Section
•Use a table to clearly and efficiently present this information.
•Only include three or four items per column in the table.
•Use sentence fragments without periods to save space and time for the reader.

Step 3: Writing Your Work History Section
•Try to include between five and seven bullet points per job you list.
•Start with your most recent employer and move backwards chronologically.
•Stay consistent and either list just years or months and years, don’t mix the two.
These are some fine examples of financial analyst work history points:
•Helped plan 2014 state legislation
•Created expected sales projections for three separate corporate clients
•Worked with investors to help them understand the market’s tendencies
•Created the projection and plan that helped (company’s) 2013 ascent
Step 4: Writing Your Education Section
•If you’re submitting a resume prior to graduation, simply write something like “anticipated graduation in…” or “in progress.”
•List any certificates and licenses that are relevant.
•List relevant coursework even if it didn’t go toward a completed degree.
