Hired in as a pipeline welder-,GTAW, FCAW and SMAW, Layed a many mile of pipe, carbon and inconel, for major company's, inshore and offshore.
Was heavily involved with building 2 slug catcher facilities for Enbridge.
Constructed a Facility for BHP-Hawkville unit phase 1, all underground and above ground piping, for site.
Worked very closely with Q.C. and Commissioning, with building facility from start to finish.

Hired on as a comb. Hand, took over shop formans job. Duties include, material take off's of bid packets, material pricing, labor, coating and shipping. Would Fit and Weld when needed to complete projects. We Fab. offshore baskets, process piping, subsea jumpers(Lady Bug project for Stolt offshore). Shaw Cont. - S/S, Hastalloy, Carbon-GTAW, SMAW processes, turnaround, and new construction, Union Carbide Plant, Taft, LA.
Hired in as a Fitter/Welder, worked on offshore and inshore, rig installation and hook ups, Cement units, and Shaker units. Crane boom repairs. Spool piping, manual and semiauto processes. Broke out as Offshore Foreman, pushing crews on offshore platforms doing, compressor hook ups, Crane install's, sump deck referbs, platform referbs, piping installs, and reroutes.
Hired on as welder helper,worked very hard to learn the trade. 9 mth's later went to Young memorial Vo-tech at company's expense, broke out as a second class Structural welder. Two Yrs. later made 1st. class combination Fitter/welder. installed and hooked up decks and platforms offshore, on some of the biggest lift barges in the gulf of mexico.
Hired on as a green hand, accumulated enough sea time in 2 mths to get my Z-card, was working on my AB, when i left the company for more money.
