Performs field office work and itinerant service by assisting veterans and their dependents in securing benefits from federal and state agencies.
Interviews veterans and dependents and determines their eligibility for benefits under existing laws.
Prepares and presents claims for benefits.
Develops appeal cases resulting from unfavorable decisions by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Represents veterans at local board hearings.

Social casework objectives, principles, methods, and caseload management and organization.
Understand, interpret and apply complex laws and regulations on the rights and benefits to which veterans and their dependents are legally entitled.

Listen attentively and ask pertinent questions.
Analyze and evaluate problems of individual veterans and their families and recommend effective solutions or alternatives.

Prepare clear and concise correspondence and maintain records.

Gather, record and evaluate information necessary for initial and continuing eligibility entitlements for a variety of veterans benefits.
Develop and implement store-specific sales goals based on Company Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) and clearly communicate action plans to store employees to drive performance.
Track, analyze, and report individual store performance and communicate areas of opportunity to drive growth.
Establish clear development paths for each of your team members and maintain a strategic succession plan.
Partner with Recruiting to build strategies for attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
Plan and execute strategies to drive marketing efforts and increase Company awareness.
Ensure Company cleanliness and safety standards are met by conducting visual store inspections and partnering with various departments or vendors to handle repair claims, placing a priority on the safety and security of the store and team members.
Protect Company assets by completing store audits with rigorous review and analysis.
Analyzes financial statements, bank records, government databases and other sources to identify fraud or other instances of financial crime.
Conducts a preliminary investigation to confirm a violation has occurred, then obtains relevant documents and testimony from involved parties.
Analyze complex financial and accounting records and conduct interviews with suspects and file reports on their findings and support prosecutors by offering testimony during court proceedings.
