• Developed an online voting system for the TRSC (Threat Reduction Support Center). This web-based application allows task leaders to nominate their employees to be the candidates of the Employee of the Month (EOM). The members of the EOM Board can vote for the EOM online after the task leaders submitted their nominations. After the chairman of the EOM Board select a winner based on the number of vote each employee gets, an email will be sent automatically to notify the manager.
• Participated in the development of the Overseas Presence Collaboration Zones (OPCZ) prototype, a web-based collaborated system that integrates knowledge management, synchronous communication via instant messenger, threaded discussions, content management and intelligent search. Developed dynamic pages in server-side JavaScript and JSP in BroadVision infrastructure.
• Implemented a dropdown menu for The Human Resource Managers Information System (THRMIS) for Air Force to interact with other websites. Used ASP and JavaScript to extract the data from SQL server and create a dynamic dropdown menu.
• Designed and implemented a web-based database driven application – Arms Control Treaty Information Operating Network (ACTION). The front end of the application was written in DHTML, JAVA applet, JavaScript and XSL (Extensible Stylesheet Language). The backend of the application was written in JAVA servlet to generate XML and will be displayed by XSL (Extensible Stylesheet Language). An Oracle database was used to store the ACTION data.
• Worked on the Information Security (INFOSEC) project designed and implemented trusted security filters that are installed in the Command and Control Guard (C2G) to protect the classified material for the C2G project of the Department of Defense. The languages that were used are C and FELT. Sensitive words that are defined by users will be removed when transferring data.
