Summary

Diverse and adaptable military veteran with supervisor experience, superior organizational skills, extensive Electrical and mechanical technician experience. and a range of administration abilities.

Six years as a Industrial controls electrician responsible for maintaining a 560 MW 2X1 Combined Cycle Power Plant and 90 MW Simple Cycle Power Plant. Served in a lead role functions where general mentorship and training of less experienced support personnel is needed. I am adept at calibrating, testing, and maintaining all aspects of field equipment. Also, my hands-on experience has equipped me with a well-balanced skill set, including exceptional time management and project administration capabilities. I excel at working with engineers to design and implement enhanced testing protocols and can assist the product development team by collecting real-world data.

Over seven years of experience in the United States Coast Guard and Air Force as an electronic/electrical technician and senior supervisor, and aircraft structural technician. In which time my job required superior leadership skills, organizing, implementing training, maintenance, and federal records programs, overseeing operations and organization of various federal programs. Along with normal job responsibilities I was appointed the position of Department supervisor (Assistant Engineering Petty Officer). The role of this position was to run the entire unit's maintenance department including three trades consisting of six personnel. My responsibilities in overseeing the maintenance department included the responsibility for installation, maintenance, causality repair, and management of sophisticated electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Including federal aids to navigation and signal systems, Solar arrays and battery systems, ship and shore electrical power distribution and generation, control and monitoring equipment, electrical motors (AC/DC), VFD’s, Process Controllers, Logic Controller’s (PLC), power limited, ship and shore auxiliary based controls and monitoring equipment, communication’s systems, electronic navigation and charting systems and sensor’s, and gyro compass equipment. I also became the unit’s primary procurement and acquisition’s authority responsible for the unit’s budget, financial records, and purchases. This required coordinating orders and shipments for timelines and compliance with federal regulations and proper documentation / paperwork to go along with the programs under this role. Roles in my career included overseeing multiple programs in a multi-agency status, entering and running reports in multiple automated applications, updating and creating programs and forms to facilitate operations and proper documentation, maintaining hundreds of records on individual federal aids to navigation, personnel records, training records and various unit reports.
