Due to the seriousness that the public was Our customer KC Metro Transit Division's strict guidelines in regards to hiring & vetting ensured All DOT Federal Regulations were safely followed and maintained. This in itself allowed My skillset to be refreshed & updated with all proper pre-qualifications & propelled Me to complete Interview process thus finally securing commendable employment in Seattle as A Transit Technician earning $33 per hour starting pay.

Completed Basic Training & Coast Guard's Striker Program as A Machinery Technician with various collateral duties which included but were not limited to the following;
Maintained Military Common Courtesies and Specific Tasks Directions that fulfilled Job Title and Command's required training quotas and qualifications on a monthly basis.
Primary duties as a Machinery Technician was to maintain cleanliness of ALL areas both afloat & ashore. Proper HAZMAT, OSHA AND COAST GUARD regulations were a part of daily tasks.
Performed preventive maintenance schedules in a timely manner without unnecessary actions. Conducted troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures using On-Board Diag. or Manufacture's PC Programs according to NAVSTANDARDS and Coast Guard Procedures.
Conducted R&R on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and auxiliary shipboard engines/generators/equipment with minimal supervision.
Collateral duties as a Firefighter, Maritime Law Enforcement Officer, Rescue Swimmer and Damage Control Technician instilled versatility and readiness at every unforeseen circumstance.
At the time of enrollment the Military's reinstated coverage of "A Fully Paid Tuition" was advantageous to My Military Career and was also one of the first pilot programs that involved both indirect and conventional college curriculums also known as "hybrid online courses"
