Oversee a budget of $300,000 for all four institutions of the Florence Campus (Federal Prison Camp, Federal Corrections Institution, United States Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum). Sustain very positive relationships with vendors nationally to obtain the best price and quality of product.
Supervise nine employees directly and twenty three employees indirectly. Create and maintain over twenty recreation and leisure programs for an inmate population of over one thousand. Supervise over 140 inmate orderlies in various jobs at the institution from janitorial to program assistance.
Create and implement many programs and tournaments. Some recent examples include a community-inmate Ping Pong Club where local residents compete with inmates in round robin tournaments and a program for inmates to donate art work to local fundraising events in the community.

Responsible for certifying monthly credit card files, fund control reconciliations, and maintaining balances. Business files always well organized following guidelines and policy. Maintained the inventory log to ensure equipment, supplies and property were accounted for.
Developed and delivered a variety of recreation and leisure time programs for approximately 500 of the nation's highest security inmates. All current inmate programs, still successful today, were developed and implemented beginning in 1994 by myself.
Program reviews consistently received Superior ratings. Programs developed include Health Education/Cardiovascular Wellness Courses, Trivia contests, and Hobby-Craft and Art programs.
Wrote progress reports detailing inmate participation in the ADX Recreation activities. Encouraged inmate participation by counseling at-risk inmates, advertised programs on inmate tv, continually updated schedules as needed.
