Emergency Response Unit - I have acted as a team member, squad leader and most recently an Assistant Field Commander. I have had a lot of training for emergency situations. I am certified in Incident Command Systems 100, 200, 300, 700 and 800. I have also attended training that includes hostage situations, riot and crowd control, directing large crowds, room / building clearing and triage. I have been certified in the use of baton, pepper ball gun, Taser, electronic control devices, rifle, shotgun and handgun. Also standard training for correctional officers is OC spray carry and use, Rifle, shotgun and Handgun certified, also CPR certified. I am a CPR instructor and Electronic control device instructor through StunTronics. I have been to the State's Joint ERU training many times. I have been there as a team member, a squad leader, a role player and most recently as a member of the state planning team where I created the scenario for the functional exercise. I have completed and certified in Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). I have experience in creating Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) for multiple functional exercises and table top trainings.
