  • Even though I was given the opportunity to commute by STS from Arizona to Chicago no less than four times a year at my expense, it was decided after I moved to transition me to 1099 and thus Painless was rolled into action as a real entity. Prior to this, Painless was used as an EIN for the Microsoft Partner Network for my continued education.
  • Sage Software Corporate began sending me clients that they needed assistance with as well as put me in contact with other business partners who required experienced consultants for Abra Suite, HRMS, Accpac, MAS, FAS and other software. I was also given plenty of opportunities from PeopleSense, Inc.
  • My second year in business, I had revenues exceeding $250,000 while working for three different Sage partners until an illness caused me to slow down where PeopleSense ultimately bought out my client list and hired me outright.

  • Brought in as a junior consultant for Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Training, Attendance and Timekeeping software. Having achieved my MCSE and other certifications, STS was able to meet the requirement for the Best Software (later Sage) Enterprise class Workforce Management solution.
  • Worked with clients traveling throughout the country to implement mostly Abra Suite software and perform upgrades from the older Abra 2000 version. I also performed data conversions and high level troubleshooting & financial auditing if a system crash occurred.
  • Branched out into MAS90 and MAS200 (Now Sage ERP) Accounting as needed for clients who requested assistance.
  • Performed data conversions from the likes of ADP, Paychex, Ceridian, Millenium, Quickbooks and a legion of other smaller systems to Abra Suite and Abra HRMS (later named Sage HRMS).
  • One of the first to implement the fully web-based Employee Self-Service system due to my experience with Internet Information Services under Windows and helped in the development of ESS with Sage.
  • Also converted the STS network from an ancient and ailing Novell based server to Windows 2000 and was the first Sage business partner to ever host a client's software in the cloud via private server. (Pre-Azure/AWS)
