I have worked for three companies over the last 7 years. I have been promoted to assistant manager in each company. I have worked with sales in furniture, appliances, and electronics. Consistently reached my sales goals on a weekly basis by selling face to face or by telemarketing.
I worked as a sales and credit manager for the company for about a year and a half. I was often ranked close to the top in the weekly and monthly sales ranking. My daily responsibility was to work with customer as they walked in to find what they needed and following up on leads by telemarketing. I was also responsible for creating sales plans for my staff to execute each week to maximize profits and move merchandise.
My main responsibility was managing inventory. I was responsible for inventory counts, orders, and stocking shelfs in a presentable way. I also helped with scheduling employees and daily reports
I managed a staff of 9 sometimes 13 employees. I worked closely with the manager in the hiring of these employees. I helped train an promote 3 of these employees into management as well. I opened and closed the store most days and nights. Worked with all registers during shift changes. I did nightly inventory counts to prevent losses.
