  • Cardiac Sonography under Medical Service Team- 2014-Present
  • First Aid/CPR- present and up to date
  • Presentation in front of large groups since 2016-present. Most recent presentation completed successfully on 01/08/2021 on Mitral Stenosis.
  • See through projects and successful completion. Currently in TMS program for LEAD X 3/2021.
  • Limited direction of a manager- 5/2019 - present; individually working in a CBOC in Livermore with responsibilities for all patients including critical care patients and clerk duties. Compared to PAD who have 5 sonographers, I am responsible for all duties. Work load example: 12/22/2020 volume may look low due to Livermore although findings show it's greater than PAD. Population of veterans are closer to Livermore CBOC and during this time there was 24 consults for PAD scheduled among 5 sonographers when I had a total of 37 consults in Livermore completed only by myself with no assistance.
  • Demonstrates independence in planning, time management, volunteer in presentations; volunteered in Labor pool estimating around 4/2020 starting in a tent to help with blood draws to moving on to front gate duties that included but not limited to evaluating if a patient has been exposed to COVID and when/where there appointment were going to take place. Suicide prevention 9/22/2020: gathered and put together gift bags for Veterans once they entered the front of the building.
  • Relationship development; 2018, 2019, 2020 email from colleagues thanking me for mentoring them as new staff, fellows 2019 asking if I can assist them with scanning personally.
  • Customer service- Multiple thank you letter from patients 2019-2020
  • Developing new ideas, providing solutions for complex issues; 6/2019-2020 mentioned to physician to develop a new grid for TEE's to assist all to see total amount of TEE procedures there are daily, now called "advanced echo". Ergonomics is a huge issue; problem solved by going through proper channels to receive appropriate scanning chairs that the supervisor was attempting to order for several years prior to my transfer. Set up signs and guidance for patients in Livermore as they are easily misdirected to the location of their appointment 5/2019.
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Discipline to plan and accomplish assignments; up to date with TMS, receiving consults daily throughout the day; up to date with CME's.
  • Ensured in on time schedules- persistently calling patients to assure their arrival time and if there were any issues getting scheduled or difficult to find location.
  • Resolve issues and think outside the box- collected a box of masks set up in individual bags for patients in my clinic for those who show their struggle finding a mask that fits them properly. Limited interruptions within the department by confirming patients know where to wait instead of barging into the room or knocking real loud to enter for their appointments. My door is always open for anyone who maybe lost in finding their route.
  • Assisted in supervision in Cleveland, Ohio 2018
