  • Managed ranch for absentee owners.Responsible for day - to - day, monthly, and yearly functioning of White Butte Ranch which supports 500 mother cows, 23 bulls, and 300 yearlings. Harvested up 1000 to 1500 ton of irrigated grass/ alfalfa hay annually. Managed two BLM permits and one USFS permit; very good relations with both agencies. Completed numerous juniper clearing projects funded by state and federal grants. Responsible for marketing and buying all cattle. In charge of full time crew of four to five employees. White Butte Ranch is approximately 10,000 deeded acres with 75,000 federal acres and 15,000 private acre leases. In 2006 White Butte Ranch was purchased by the present owners and they also bought two additional ranch to make up what is the present day White Butte Ranch, LLC.

Grimmway Farms Shafter, CA, Responsible for day to day managing of the ranch with 10,000 deeded acres with 110 irrigated acres. Owner did not have any of their own cattle. The ranch was stocked with lease cattle for five to six months.
