  • As Project Controls Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the project controls staff and the cost and schedule control systems and preparing cost accounting reports for presentation to top management. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain a well-trained and competent office and project staff. (training, mentoring, performance reviews, etc.) This includes providing technical guidance and project task assignments to less experienced planning/scheduling, and/or cost engineering personnel.
  • Providing monthly reports to Constructors President, Chief Operating Officer, Controller, Project Managers, and Operations Support Managers. Monitoring reports against budgets and change management system.
  • Helping set strategic and tactical direction with regard to policies and procedures.
  • Process monthly revenue and cost projections, forecasts.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers to ensure consistent budget setup and cost tracking.
  • Prolog Administrator: End to end ownership, management, maintenance, support, and training of the Prolog system.
  • Coordinating with Project Controls staff and Project Managers to ensure accuracy and consistency of cost reports.
  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits.
  • Analysis of P6, project schedules and updates. Create summary schedule reports for executive management including critical path analysis, 8 week look a-heads, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining technical standards.
  • Periodic audits of all project controls data entered in project management system. Risk Analyst
  • Main contract for surety and insurance agent.
  • Obtain all quotes for pursuits needing project specific insurance (CPL, Builders Risk, Railroad, etc.) and payment and performance bond
