  • Ensure that dimensions and measurements of the pipeline trench are excavated properly for construction and safety; including length and space measurements around pipe are met, bench height is 4 ft and appropriate, and large enough work space for welders to combine pipes.
  • Check and adjust grade percentage with construction laser and gradestick, according to pipeline print layout.
  • Responsible for pipe installation with the use of pry bars and hammers to safely guide incoming pipe into the trench from previously installed pipe.
  • Co-work with surveyor to ensure elevation and alignment of pipe is correct.
