I have multiple years within an educational environment. I have worked with disabled students throughout my time spend within that educational institution.
I have also worked in several customer service positions, that has given me the ability work with other people professionally and prefect my communication skills.

I hold a certificate in American Sign Language. I have a commendation in my file at one of my previous jobs, from going up and beyond my job with the children I worked with.
I have exceptional computer skills and am versed in multiple Microsoft Office programs.
My duties included taking portraits of individuals and groups. Making sales and doing customer service work. Supervision other employees when I was moved to the lead position at the store. Opening and closing the store as well as doing a lot of cash handling.
Transporting 150-200 students a day, back and forth to school, and to special events. During a number of my years with Galesburg, I worked as a special education driver, and was certified in dealing with students who had seizures. I am CPR certified and retain my CDL Class B.
Through KVCC, I have taken numerous classes to prepare me for a multitude of careers, but I specialized in Communications and Languages and ended up receiving a certificate in American Sign Language. I am currently going back to apply for my Associates Degree, as instead of obtaining it I simply transfered over to Western Michigan University to further my education.
I am currently attending Western Michigan University to obtain my Bachelor's in History and in Communications. I'm also hoping to go on to a master's program in History. I am currently minoring in English
