System administrator for the National Directory Support System at the Fort Worth Processing and Distribution Facility. The NDSS system began as a DEC Microvax II - VaxStation 3100 Cluster and went through three major hardware/software upgrades during my tenure; DEC AlphaStation 3000, DEC AlphaServer 800, and finally Compaq DS-10. I installed, configured, and tested all three of these systems as they were deployed. As system administrator I was responsible for all hardware and software upgrades. In addition I maintained the user accounts for NDSS and SPS applications. Other duties included creating and testing mailpieces for sorting accuracy, generating and presentation of reports and data and building files used to facilitate mail sortation on several different Postal processing systems.
