Enterprise Network Improvements (October 2014 - continuing)

  • Assist small staff site with modernization of infrastructure and monitoring of same. Review and improve design of network and troubleshoot and eliminate chronic issues based on prior issues.

Enterprise Network Improvements (January 2014)

  • Review, implement and monitor nation-wide (California, Chicago and Pennsylvania) network upgrade including traffic and application analysis (Netflow and Application study and configuration using Solarwinds, VMWare and Cisco products.)

Hot/Redundant Site (March 2012)

  • Coordinated WAN and LAN design and primary infrastructure product selection for the creation of a remote hot/redundant site that would replicated central site core services should central site not be available. Finished this ahead of time in a tight deadline scenario before the NATO Summit in April of 2012.

Central Site Move (August, 2006)

  • Primary WAN and LAN design and product selection for the move of the central site of a 1000-node, 24-site Wide Area Network comprised of local/state and national locations.
  • Testing, implementing and managing the move or installation and re-integration of all core infrastructure equipment including all routers, switches and UPS units.
  • Total of 18 months of preparation, configuration, testing, documentation and administration before, during and after the move.
  • Coordinated with all network engineers and technicians to insure that all services were operational on the opening day of the new facility.
