Although this position is not a paying one, it is the job that gave me the most insights into the experiences of life. As a mother of five children ranging from newborn to 16 years, old, this position gave me the ability to perfect my multi-tasking skills.
Being a stay-at-home mother was my choice because I love children and believe that each child deserves to be treated like they are special.
As this was an accredited Ministry School rather than a college or university, my degree was an Ordained Interfaith Minister rather than the traditional Bachelor's Degree.
The course curriculum prepared me for all aspects of ministerial work including legal and tax considerations. As ministerial work is a service-oriented field, many courses focused on the pyschological and social issues of not only perspective clients, but also myself. This self-awareness has heightened my ability to have compassion, understanding, and patience.
