I enjoy keeping busy throughout my shift with my daily tasks and engaging with customers. I like working with my team members to ensure customers have great service and team members have a great shift throughout the day . During my career with Ruby Tuesday I have enjoyed working my daily task from the front of the house to the back of the house . I have enjoyed working for Ruby Tuesday's for twenty years. From working as a line cook to being a General manager . I studied culinary arts in high school and then went to the school of the Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh . When I returned from collage I was a Head Chef at different restaurants. I started at Ruby Tuesday's and enjoyed the structure at the restaurant. I would like the opportunity to get back into the fast pace environment and working with team members again .
At MR. Sticky's I supervise over employees to make sure employees have completed daily job duties. I spend the day rolling out dough and making sticky buns for the restaurant and for fundraisers. During the day I focus on bringing check list such as line checks, temperature logs, and to make the restaurant be ready for daily operations. I re-organize the walk-in to make it easy for doing inventory .
As the General manager at Williamsport Ruby Tuesday I was responsible for rebuilding the sales in the store and rebuilding the team at the restaurant. When I got promoted to General manager to this store the team were so use to not having a strong management team and not having direction. I have knowledge of doing inventory and reviewing truck orders that the Assistant manger and myself ordered. I have knowledge of hot schedules with forecasting .Also reviewing schedules from my front of house and back of house mangers were in charge of . I would make sure schedules were posted and that all shifts were staffed and in and out times of team members made sense . I did daily line checks and ECOSURE audits on a daily tasks. Working with Schoox apps to insure all team members completed daily training and hiring of new team members. Completing I-9 paperwork doing orientation . I would complete training of new team members . Working with team members to provide great food and great service to our guest every shift was our goal . Working at this store I was in charge of rebuilding sales . I was able to get to know the General manager at Horse Power Harley (Kevin). I was able to rebuild relations with Kevin due to previously General Managers at this store damaged. Kevin and I was going to introduce Bike Night at Ruby Tuesday's to boost sales for Ruby's and also for Horse Power Harley . Unfortunately Ruby Tuesday was closed down due to COVID .
As the assistant manager at Ruby Tuesday in Lock Haven I was in charge of truck orders and inventory .I would do the schedule for the back of house employees and do line checks on a daily time throughout my shift. I was in charge of organizing the kitchen and the walk in and freezer . I would train team members every day . I also was in charge of insuring daily prep sheet was done and pull thaw was done every day .I would make sure every shift was ran smoothly . I made sure every position was staffed and did daily cleaning throughout my shifts .I was in charge of the back of house and the front of house daily . I would interact with customers every shift . I enjoyed building relations with customers getting to know them on a first name base .
As a cook and a cook shift leader one of my jobs was completing daily prep sheets .I would do daily cleaning tasks throughout the shift and complete line checks . I enjoyed cooking at high volume times and completing food orders in a timely fashion . While I was a cook at the Lock Haven store I was asked to be on their new store opening team. I was on the training team for about three years and opened up ten Ruby Tuesday's while on the team. I was in charge of training new team members and opening the new store locations.
I was a shift leader at the store in Lock Haven . I would open and close the store . I was able to travel and work at other locations as a shift leader also. I was able to learn a lot while I was on the training team and as a shift leader to be able to be promoted to the assistant manager position at this store.
