KHNP South Korea - assisted KHNP in the development of the Comprehensive Vibration Assessment Program (CVAP) for Shin Kori Unit 4. Managed modeling project of APR1400 reactor vessel, and review of flow-induced vibration measurements.
Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant - managed projects for mitigating feedwater pump trip (conceptual design for standby train), and industry-wide effort on GSI-191 analysis and testing (sump strainer and chemical effects under accident conditions).
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station - onsite presence during restart effort after replacement steam generator tube leak. Performed briefing on technical issues to senior management and reviewed work products by OEM. Developed new model of steam generator flow using commercial CFD code.
Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station - completed third party review of replacement steam generators for tube vibration issues. Conducted technical audit of vendor thermal-hydraulic code.
LaSalle County Nuclear Generating Station - completed power uprate project for isolated phase bus duct. Analyzed system for steady-state thermal performance.
Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station - managed alternatives analysis project on chillers and containment HVAC (health assessment and replacement options).
Prairie Island Nuclear Power Plant - completed assessment of GL-2008-01 for managing gas accumulation in safety systems, and high energy line break (HELB) analysis.
South Texas Nuclear Project - launched program for GL-08-01 and associated evaluations. Modeled waterhammer and gas void transport in piping systems.
H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Station - consultations on FLEX and post-Fukushima flooding calculations.
Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station - assisted plant in switching containment pH control system buffer and doing design change.
Koeberg South Africa - performed study and modeling to determine feasibility for power uprate on iso-phase bus duct and generator circuit breaker.
Edwardsport IGCC Power Station - completed project to recommend modifications to main air compressor inter-stage coolers. Solved vortex shedding/resonance issues, and developed structural design modification.
