Worked as a summer hire for the US Department of State at the Transportation and Travel Management office (TTM). As an employee in this office, I was tasked with conducting reimbursements for the travel of other government employee's traveling abroad for work. In addition, I was given small projects from my co-workers whenever they needed extra help. These included working with excel to create spreadsheets, and inputting addresses of certain government buildings for foreign delegates visiting D.C. for conferences. My other responsibilities included filing, scanning, and printing important documents, as well as shredding a lot of unnecessary paper. The main responsibility I had was to make sure my reimbursements were correct, neat, and on time. I was responsible for giving money back to government employee's who had to pay out of their own pocket for work travel.
In my 2 years of attending Emerson College so far as a Visual Media Arts major, I have been involved in many video productions. My role's have ranged from acting, directing, and editing which is my specialization. The main production project that I was involved in was was an Emerson sports show called The Box Score, which is a sports news show that covers the top recent sport events. My role was to film and edit field segments of the cast and crew doing activities outside the studio such as participating in ice skating competitions and dodgeball tournaments. The segment would then be aired during the show.
