Professional Summary

I have over twenty-five years of experience as an interpreter and translator and more than ten years in management. In the past, I have worked as a paralegal, assistant manager, court interpreter, and translator in a law firm that processed criminal defense and personal injury cases. At the law firm, I was the only interpreter in the office, also the court interpreter for the firm, and for the medical personal injury depositions. I am fluent in English and Spanish with extensive knowledge in both languages and no accent in either language when I speak, facilitating both parties a better understanding of what is being interpreted. I also understand and speak Portuguese at 70%. I have worked in the hospital setting for the past seven years and have ample understanding of the needs and expectations of the job. I have worked with Jeffrey Barger as my supervisor and manager.
