Intern/Apprentice at Blue Origin (Rocket Company) over the past summer. I got to work hands-on with some of the best Engineers in the world, and learn a lot about the circuitry of a space vehicle. I wired multiple junction boxes, thermocouple boxes, and a few transducers. I acquired knowledge about resistors, diodes, many types of wire, and much more.
I got an internship that is meant for college students while I was still attending high school. My boss quoted that I, "Caught on to things much faster than anyone ever has, and seemed more like an engineer than an intern." I was also Salutatorian of my high school with a nearly perfect GPA. I was captain of our FIRST robotics team. Built and wired a Break-out box that is currently being used for a space vehicle.
I started off with basic wire, solder, and design training. After my training I wired some projects, then eventually began working on larger scale projects for the launch vehicle.
I just started here at UT Austin, but I do have 30 college hours fro dual credit classes.
