Effectively plan and execution of dray moves within assigned regions while working closely with both domestic and International Customer Service Managers, Intermodal Operations Specialists, Dray Operations Specialists and Dray Asset Planners. This must be done while meeting key performance indicators that insure financially sound operation and reliable service product. solicit, assist, and maintain established customer base. Duties include processing requests for loads, assignment of loads to designated carriers, tracking and tracing of customer shipments for on-time delivery, input accuracy, and any other customer service functions needed to ensure customer satisfaction. Receive and manage customer load requests via telephone, e-mail, fax machine, and E.D.I., contact and tender loads to Werner Enterprises, designated carriers, customer designated carriers, brokerage, and Intermodal. Monitor changes in load status. Manage outside carriers and coordinate customer loads between Werner and partner carriers. Monitor and manage changes in load status through tracking of customer shipments. Manage team interaction with Werner Brokerage office to manage outside carriers and coordinate customer loads between Werner and partner carriers. Develop relationships with outside carriers to handle loads managed by Werner Logistics. Manage carrier service metrics to meet customer needs. Order items through PBUSE supply system. Maintain the units authorized material list through PBUSE. I issue items for soldiers. I also receive items for turn-in. I receive supplies from SSA and direct shipment from various sources of supply. Preparing andpackage property for shipment to turn in points. I collect information about property from hand receipt holders in order to preparecyclic inventory reports, update component hand receipts, and request supplies needed to accomplish day-to-day tasks. I set upstorage locations for supplies stocked at the unit level. Classes of supply include Class 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9. I ensure stock rotation ofitems with expiration dates (issuing stock with shortest expiration date first) while also ensuring authorized stock is on hand andserviceable. I also reference appropriate army regulations, technical manuals and supply catalogs for guidance in supplyprocedures that are unfamiliar to me and also operate forklift and pallet jacks in an open and confined environment in order toload, unload, and arrange supplies in an organized manor.
As the Supply Technician for AASF #1 I also oversee and manage the facilities Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment Program(TMDE), manage and maintain accountability of all aviation related repair parts, Monitor tool room operations, and ensureinspection of all hazardous material items are completed in a timely manner. I communicate with the TASM MOAVCRAD orItem Managers to insure timely issuance and receipt of aircraft parts; I understand and comply with requirements found in theARMS checklist and ensure that the facility is in compliance with all environmental regulations in the area of waste management. I have the knowledge and ability to order, receive, and turn-in class 9 parts using several supply and material managementsystems. Ensure that proper levels of stock age in the prescribed load list (PLL) and bench stock. Ensure proper Hand Tools andSKO Accountability practices are being followed. I also oversee the AASF #1 Waste Management program and assist andcomplete additional duties as assigned.
