Ensure the development and execution of supply and logistics management procedures and technical processes, to include automation in support of established policy to maximize readiness and meet audit requirements, and responsible as the Brigade S-4 to provide senior level guidance to all authorized logistics and maintenance personnel. Advise the Brigade Commander and provide logistics guidance to commanders at all levels. Responsibilities include Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP), Food Service (AFMIS), KYLOC (uniform), Lodging in Kind (LIK) and billeting, transportation, contracting for supplies and services, Government Purchase Card program (GPC), property book, property accountability (turn-in and lateral transfers), SARSS ordering, and budgeting and fund execution. Provide brigade level logistics support and planning for Extended Combat Training (ECT), Field Training Exercises (FTX) mobilizations, ensure that all logistics supply policies are responsive, commander centric and soldier focused in order to enable Total Army Readiness.
