Created a successful business through the process of developing and implementing a strong business plan, which including marketing strategies that increased clientele by 80%. Results included going from a home based business to running a fully operating store front studio in a two year timeline. Key successes included being sought after for services (over other competitors who had been in the market for over 20 years) by the Mayor of Hawaii, local police department, and local celebrities.
As a professional Certified Substance Abuse Counselor I worked with a number of NGO's and in private practice providing substance abuse counseling, assessment, and treatment.
Successes were measured by individualized treatment plans that included clients goals and objectives. As a result of utilizing client centered processes individuals experienced decreased in substance use, greater self awareness, impulse control, and improved interpersonal relationships.

Antioch provided a non- traditional style of learning encouraging innovative, creative, individuals to engage in process based learning style. Leadership development and reflective practice was deeply ingrained throughout my academic studies.
Each course required a process of strategic planning that started with 1) building a team 2) assessing each members' strengths and weakness 3)identifying deliverables 4) setting goals and objectives to reach deliverables 5) dividing into smaller teams to complete tasks 6) production of final presentation 7) reflection on process of achievements, challenges, and experiences in meeting project goals.

COMMUNITY PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Social Justice Through the Arts- Program Developer A collaborative based project engaging multiple stakeholders from the University of Hawaii and Local non-profit agencies. This project succeeded in building community engagement and awareness of social justice issues related to the LGBTQ+ community. This project included a film festival, bi-monthly conversation cafes, art exhibitions, and a community resource fair. This required an active role in developing events, grant writing, fund management and collaboration with other professionals, resulting in reaching over 1000 community members.
Emotional Creature —Creative Director/Producer This project inspired leadership encouraging teenage girls to take an activist role through artistic action. Participants engaged in Eve Ensler annual global V-Day awareness raising movement to stop violence against women and girls around the globe. Participants shared the voices and real-life stories of women and girls around the globe. This event involved collaboration with university students, leaders, faculty and community organizations reaching over 100 participants.
Real Girls 411 —Media Literacy Program Educator Media Literacy program developed and implemented in local non-profits to educate youth on the impact media has on defining gender roles.
