I am a helper that assist in installing safety anchors for the oil and gas industry. We mainly put anchors for the work over rig and coil tubing. These anchors stabilized the equipment when it was in the air. I did a lot of work for Conoco Phillips/Exxon as a contractor. When I wasn't working I was at the yard preparing the trucks for the upcoming jobs. When I am in the yard I am also cleaning tools and pressure washing equipment. I also do inventory of what materials we have so we can complete the next jobs that comes up. I always made sure I was wearing the proper PPE required for the job. I took many safety classes for the oil and gas industry. I don't mind getting dirty and working many hours for the job. I am still employed at guyline anchor service.
I worked at a primate facility pressure washing animal cages. I also collected samples of blood and feces that the lab requested. I also did other traits such as cleaning the restroom and cutting grass. I also pressure washed tools and did other labor duties. I always wore my PPE to protect myself from hazardous material. I was in charge of enforcing safety rules such as making sure everybody was wearing the proper PPE for the job. Safety is a great importance is an everyday job. I know my way around a computer, I had to do reports on Microsoft word and email it to my management. I do whatever needs to be done at work and I leave nothing unfinished. I was at SNBL for 5 years until they layed me off due to the company having finical issues. I left on a positive note.
I was a Commercial motor vehicle operator in the marine corps. I transported logistics throughout the base such as water, food, and fuel. I supplied part of the base so training can be done for the troops. When I was not on the road I was at the truck yard doing preventive maintenance on the trucks and inventory in the warehouse. I did maintenance such as doing grease points,topping off fluids, changing lights/reflectors, and tires. I also did house cleaning, cutting grass, pressure washing equipment. I always wore my PPE with no problem. I an very safety orientated so that no one will get hurt. We marines are pretty much handy men of all traits. I did 8 months in Afghanistan supplying bases at the front line in a commercial vehicle. I was also a housing manager for the marine barracks. I took care of all the discrepancies with the rooms. I check in and check out marines. I also made sure room conditions were in good order. I handled all third party work orders. I made sure all open work order were completed in a timely manner. I had inventory portfolios on each room to make sure furniture was accounted for and in good condition. I did 4 years in the military and got out with an honorable discharge. I know I can accomplish any task given to me.
I graduated top 15% of my class. I did a lot of volunteering at the boys and girls club on my free time. I also did community work such as picking up trash along the roads and serving food at the homeless shelter. I am a fast learner and always willing to learn more traits. I graduated in 2007.
Went to ATS school to get trained on heavy equipment. I am NCCER certified on numerous pieces of heavy equipment. The instructors that I was assigned to had 20 years of heavy equipment experience. I was well trained on the equipment and preventive maintenance. They taught me how to properly use the equipment and to maintain the life of the machine. I am NCCCO certified rigger. I have 3 years of experience on heavy equipment.
