GCSAA Class A Superintendent with over 14 years industry experience, more than 9 of them as superintendent of a private club delivering top notch playing conditions. Highly skilled in all areas of course management, creative and enthusiastic, with extensive knowledge of agronomy and a strong work ethic, I enjoy working in this challenging and dynamic industry. I have been actively involved in industry associations on a local and national level for more than 8 years and currently serve as the president of the Pocono Turfgrass Association and the voting delegate to the GCSAA.
Established in 1929 Elmhurst Country Club is an 18 hole private golf course in northeast Pennsylvania that averages 21,000 rounds per year.
At the beginning of my tenure here the greens were in very poor shape and other areas of the course were in need of attention and the club was well below its senior membership cap of 325. Currently the course is in outstanding condition, the membership cap has been raised to 340 and there is a waiting list.
Solidified Club and stabilized membership by implementing a strong agronomic program and elevating course conditioning standards. Made improvements in playability, functionality and aesthetics to all areas of the golf course.
Improved professionalism and efficiency of staff through effective training and motivation.
Organized, implemented and oversaw numerous golf course improvements including: green and tee construction and grow-in, greens expansion, green surround renovation, golf car path improvements, irrigation system additions and improvements, landscape bed development, irrigation pond repair and drainage improvements.
Developed and implemented Excel spreadsheets for use in regard to Inventory, Pesticide and Fertilizer Applications, Payroll and Labor Tracking and Budget Development and Tracking.
Hosted PGA Nationwide Tour 2008-2009.

Located in Clarks Summit, PA Glen Oak is an 18 hole private club established in 1953 and designed by James Harrison who was trained and worked with the legendary Donald Ross.
When I began working at Glen Oak it was just a "job" but I soon came to love the atmosphere and challenge of golf course maintenance work. My scientific acumen, professionalism and attention to detail enabled me to develop skills and take on ever increasing responsibilities during my time at Glen Oak.
