As a professional driver, I've logged over 3 million accident free miles, and have developed many customer relationships. My experience with shipping and receiving has allowed me to see both sides of the spectrum. As being a truck driver, sales and delivery driver, I was accountable for loading, unloading, picking orders and safely using machines to accomplish the task. Route delivery was dependent on regular ON TIME deliveries, along with customer communication. By developing a relationship with the customers, I was able to expand total sales for the route by over 30%. I also was fortunate enough to continue those friendships with most of these customers in 5 different states after JBS sold the company in Oct. of 2012. Throughout my driving career, I have been awarded DRIVER OF THE YEAR, and have gathered many safety awards as well as fuel bonuses.
Was involved in the design process of building the truck wash from the beginning, then continued as general manager, handling the duties of hiring employees,scheduling, maintenance, equipment and supplies, training personnel. I obtained my CDL in the fall of 1994, and started my driving career in November of that year. I started with a family company of 1 truck. In the next 16 years I helped the company grow to 38 trucks. In the spring of 2010, I took a sales and delivery position in Denver Co. and made 26 weekly deliveries in a 5 state region. This position required me to load my deliveries in order, rotate customer stock, and make additional sales for the next delivery. The company sold in Oct. of 2012, which then I went back to Midwest Express Inc., and held positions as driver, sales rep. and recruiter. In the fall of 2019 I was part of the design and construction of CENTRAL NEBRASKA TRUCK WASH, was named G.M., and continued to drive until completion and opening in Nov. of 2019. Throughout these years, I was fortunate enough to be "accident free" while traveling in over 40 states.
