I have excellent Customer Service skills. I have found that is what I enjoy the most is working with people. I like a fast pace multi-tasking job that keeps me moving and on my toes. I am a very quick learner and I am good with quick decision making positions. I work well with others in a team setting. My goal is to make sure that the job is done and done well and everyone finishes and looks good at the end of the day.
I have always liked to give back to our community. I worked with Meals on Wheels for several years in the summers delivering meals to the elderly.
While at Tate Funeral Home Mr. Tate had been in business since 2000. After the first year i was there He won Best of the Best in the Sequatchie Valley
competing against 18 other Funeral Homes. He owns the largest facility in our area and is the most competitive. I coordinated a Hometown B-Bque to thank
our community . We fed over 500 people at our event and also gave back to our Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard by serving them. They also did a presentation
and I set up an area for people to make donations to their volunteer group who gives back by honoring our deceased Veterans and their brothers. After that i wanted to do more for our community and raised awareness to our local Mary Ellen Locher Breast Cancer Mobile Mammagram Bus . It is a Local hospital that has Mobile buses and Nurses that go to different locations and give free mammograms to women who may or may not have insurance. It was a large event we had a local group called Pink Heelss come out. We raffled off different items and sold balloons to be released at the end of the day. I went to all the local High Schools and talked with the counselors and we invited children in High School that were needing Volunteer hours to be able to receive College Scholarships. I tried to spread out and help everyone get involved it was a great event for the whole community.
