Hugs and Smiles started in California in 2002. Too many children have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. My mission is to help these children between the ages of 3-7 in foster care and find loving and caring homes and assist in the adoption process. Tina worked with the Department of Children Services to coordinate adoption events, such as zoo and aquarium visits, along with openings of various children's events throughout the metro Los Angeles area.
Tina subsequently relocated to South Florida and continued Hugs and Smiles, and had found her mission expanded and changed. Her vision and mission is to help disadvantaged children through dance, music, and art programs. By creating this safe environment, children communicate, connect, and collaborate at a drastically improved level. Music, Art, and Dance have no barriers in race, color, creed, and religion.
