I am currently working under Dr. Shaniece Criss on a research project funded by the NIH to identify both area-level risk and actionable protective factors for adverse birth outcomes. My role in this research is helping with recruitment for focus groups and conducting focus groups. I am also working on co-authoring a paper with Dr. Criss on research she has previously done on positive parenting regarding the No Hit Zone.
