  • Mobilized and deployed to Kuwait with the 368th Engineer Battalion in February 2003 – April 2004. During the deployment process the battalion deployed all of their MTOE authorized assets and personnel. When mobilizing the soldiers required top down uniform updates to Desert Camouflage Uniforms, boots and other similarly camouflaged OCIE and CDE. This required the property book section to process and manages over 2000 requisitions. Established support for all classes of supply within the first 72 hours in theater. Maintained theater asset visibility for the battalion and its subordinate units assigned and attached. Performed daily status update briefs, monitored supply chain to ensure supplies and equipment continued to flow to our battalion and supported units. Reviewed Field Ordering Officer(FOO) purchases to ensure property accountability was established and maintained. During redeployment implemented and executed Stay-Behind-Equipment(SBE) and Relief in Place and Transfer of Authority(RIP/TOA). In addition created one of the first multi-compo units in the force structure reporting directly to United States Army Corps of Engineers(USACE). This is a three star command and I worked closely with the PBO in that command to update equipment and field the new engineer kipper tool kits. I worked closely force development personnel at the 94th Regional Support Command to obtain the most up to date equipment and fielding's. My day to day duties and responsibilities also include many the same listed above.
