1. Thermal and structural Analysis of a Piston: Conducted thermal and structural analysis on piston of an army truck. After the design process, it was imported to ANSYS where certain parameters were set and values of each result was tabulated to provide efficient feedback.
2. Helmholtz Resonator to determine its effectiveness in minimizing induction noise: Modeled a simple Helmholtz Resonator using CATIA and meshed by using HYPERMESH. The transmission loss achieved due to the inclusion of this resonator in an induction system was determined using the Acoustic Analysis Function in ANSYS. Pre processing data and conditions were applied for FEA analysis by using PATRAN.
3. Facilities planning and design: Redesigning the material handling system & facility for warehouse operations with constraints. Performed the ABC inventory analysis on the products and place them according to their size, movement and demand. Design is developed to achieve smooth material flow, reduced material handling and increased throughput.
