I have served in the U. S. Coast Guard for over 12 years. I have earned 5 Commendation Medals, 3 Achievement Medals, been Sailor of the Quarter at each duty stations. I have served at 7 different billets, I am highly motivated and proficient in customer service which is the primary job of Yeoman. I have advanced 3 times in my 12 years when the average being usually 15 years in my field. I am a dedicated worker work ethic is strong. I have stepped up and taken on extra tasks and assisted with the training for over 50 yeomans junior to me.
I worked as a direct support professional caring for people with developmental disabilities. Provided physical, mental and emotional support to meet their needs. Compassionate and dedicated to individuals. Detail oriented, assisted with daily living activities.

As a supervisor I often had to assist with their personal situations. I refereed several members for for alcohol screening and assisted their families while they were in rehab.
-I supervised 3 technicians and was responsible for the pay, permanent change of station orders, for over 740 members. I also was responsible for the ensuring over 300 Reservist met drill requirements and received proper pay. I was responsible maintaining the personnel records for the 740 records were up to Coast Guard inspection records.
-I volunteered for Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Harvey and I processed over 220 reservists on Title 14 orders. I maintained the Hurricane Harvey personnel tracker which resulted in the proper obligation for over $9,000,000.
-For Hurricane Maria processed over 130 resources requests for over 240 positions, including cooks, storekeepers, pilots and any military personnel needed.
While stationed at District 1 in Juneau, Alaska I served as the superior technical expertise for the Waterways Branch. I oversaw and ethically managed over $596,000 for travel funding. I spearheaded the restructure of Ports and Waterways filing system. I assisted in orchestrating the 2011 and 2012 Buoy Tender Round up. I was -Document Unit Leader for Shell Oil's Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit Kulluk, I maintained accurate up to date incident files critical to post incident analysis of the potentially catastrophic environmental event.
In Chesapeake, VA I was one of 3 administrative Yeomans. I assisted members (customers) with travel entitlements, pay issues, weigh-ins, and any customer issues they were having.
