My proudest accomplishment to date. I was president and captain of the William paterson rugby program, after realizing my coaches potential I knew I had to do something special with this college experience. my program had less then 15 active members and a team is made up of 15 starters. I actively and single handedly recruited enough people to keep my program sitting over 40 members while losing around 10 seniors a semester. After recruiting I pushed my self beyond limits imaginable along with 40 other men to become the best versions of them selves athletically and mentally, being that game of rugby is like a game of chess. After we have dominated our conference and blew out teams by more then 100 points I decided this was not enough. I began hunting down matches with the best teams in America so my team could finally lose. After going undefeated in regular season for 2 years (4 seasons), I knew the best thing for my program would be facing tough loses before play- offs and nationals. I began taking my under experienced new athletes to play some of the best teams in america like kutztown, princeton, university of delaware, Rutgers and more, to give them proper test to prepare them for nationals. I had to contact and coordinate these friendlies with these programs. After beating all these d1 teams as a d3 university and playing up a division in nationals i faced a career ending injury and could not see out the rest of the season with my program, surely this was the year we would win the title but the captain got hurt and was not capable of playing and my team could only push to 5th in America in division 2 rugby which i was proud of knowing we are divion 3 team and university who has no experience, playing teams offering scholarships to people who have played for 15 years prior to college. while doing all of this none of this could have happened with out fundraising more then $50k a year to have the season run out efficiently. i accomplished all this while being a full time student athlete, training for more then 4 hours a day and running my own company effectively. this shows no task is to much or to little work for me, wether it was taking all the necessary steps to allow my team to be the best in america or selling bracelets for $2 to bring in money to make the season run.
