Perform incoming functional tests, on formation evaluation tools for drilling services create estimates, order parts with JDE software and inventory control. Build and test EWR formation evaluation tools for the oil and gas industry. Also ran impedance test, air hang test, hammer test, and temperature test. Operate sit down forklift, Overhead crane, Torque machine, use all hand tools, measuring tools calipers, micrometer. Measure mix and pump epoxy, I acquired soldering certification for both low and high temp, read schematics and wiring diagrams.
While working at Avondale ship yard as a contractor. I read ship wiring diagrams and lead a team of technicians both male and female, who installed fiber optics and tested communication systems on a San Antonio Class U.S. Navy vessel. The ship was launched and featured on the Discovery Channel/Modern Marvels it was named the U.S.S. New York.
Started a electronics installation company, which installed programmed and repaired the Hertz Never lost vehicle navigation system. Managed four locations (2) in Houston, (1) in San Antonio and (1) Austin. Ensured all locations complied with service contract standards, negotiated annual contracts, recruited trained and managed technicians at each site. Implement a digital scanning system for inventory control at each location which was used nationally.
