My professional background is mostly in maintaining, repairing, and replacement of electric motor and pumps including chilled water pumps, boiler feed water pumps, F.D. and I.D. fans, pool pumps, and sewage pumps. I am also experienced in the automotive field and am not limited to the listed items. I am able to adapt to and conform to the needs of these items and also any other fields related to them.
I have repaired a wide variety of different machines in completely different applications. I have worked and solid waste sewage pumps and motors, F.D. fans and I.D. fans, shaker screen motors, D.C. motors, pool pumps, I am experienced in automotive repair and maintenance, I am experienced in the installation and repair of irrigation in the residential application, I am experienced in metal fabrication, and a small amount of experience in carpentry.
I was responsible for the tear down and assessment of specialty motors and pumps including the sizing of mechanical seals, lip seals, and bearings. I also was responsible for listing the amount of hours required to tear down clean and reassemble these motors and pumps. I kept up with shop supplies and what needed to be ordered for inventory. I performed vibration analysis and field balancing along with laser alignments, on sight bearing changes and pump rebuilds, and also new motor installations.
In pursuit of my career I've been certified with MASC ( Mid Atlantic Safety Training ) and site specific MSHA ( Mine Shaft Safety & Health Association ).
