I am seeking a position with Mississippi State University, Department of Industrial Outreach to provide outreach for K-12 programs in the MSU Bagley College of Engineering. I believe that from my experience as a district executive with the Boy Scouts of America that I can be a valuable member of your team. I have the following corporate relationships, Staplcotn of Greenwood MS, Viking of Greenwood, MS, Gresham Petroleum Co. of Indianola, MS and numerous other business. These corporate relationships have allowed me to meet my fund-raising goal for K5-12 scouting programs. I have recruited scouts from 54 schools in 8 counties of the Mississippi Delta Area and worked with various volunteer boards that include the United Way of Greenwood, MS and other community and business leaders. This work was done with the goal of identifying, recruiting, training, and inspiring them to become involved in youth programs filling the needs of the Boy Scouts of America. I remain in contact with leaders using sound time management practices and utilizing platforms such as Office 360 tools, text, Facebook pages, and personal visits to ensure that meetings and events are in compliance with the standards of the Boy Scouts of America’s policies. I maintain a level of relevance by constantly seeking relationships with civic organizations in order to build partnerships and strengthen mutual connections. I have the ability to utilize technology in order to complete time sensitive tasks while maintaining perspective on day-to-day operations.
