Professional Summary

During my many years of working with developmentally delayed Adults and Psychiatric Patients both adults and minors, I have had the Opportunity to serve them in ways beyond my Job Description as well as within my Job Duties. While working at HCAR, I taught a cooking Class teaching Developmentally Delayed Adults simple methods of cooking in a hands on environment, as well as the importance of a Nutritionally balanced diet.

I also cooked at a number of Group Picnics for 150 persons, grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as preparing side dishes and garnishments.

While at Sempervirems, I often supported the Kitchen Staff in the Kitchen, in the preparation of daily meals, in a cafeteria setting, serving up to 24 people, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

I have volunteered at several Mental Health cookouts.

I have cooked three Pigs in Pit BBQ's for weddings and ceremonies.

I have cooked oysters at festivals and gatherings.

for the past 30 years, I have cooked Thanksgiving Meals for my Family, Friends, and Strangers. When I cook this meal it is at least 7 courses, with no help whatsoever, a labour of love! (I come from a good Catholic Family! Attended Catechism at St. Bernard's)!

Also, I have experience working with Japanese and Thai cooks learning the different style of cooking as well as flavor combinations.
