Daily operations included maintaining proper growing conditions; management of the temperature both in the greenhouse and root zone; maintaining proper fertilizer regiment according to the crop needs; and maintaining proper integrated pest management program. Harvested and graded fruit to sell to various markets according to size and quality. Marketing on a biweekly basis according to supply and demand from buyers. Sold to grocery stores including large chains and independently owned stores, restaurants, nursing homes, schools, and walk- in customers. Administered billing, record keeping and ordering of supplies.
