NCM: 80% reduction in time to deliver feature/functionality to the business. Prior, NCM delivered to the business every 9-10 months. After 90-day period, NCM achieved a 30 day delivery cadence. Pre-transformation, the ?EIS? team estimated a velocity of 8-10 user stories. Just after 8 sprints in the new ecosystem, the team demoed 19 user stories in a controlled UAT environment, followed by 24 and 57 in subsequent weeks:
Magellan Network:Streamline engineering operations starting with their approach to manage code, conduct builds and deploy their software into downstream environments. Tooling was introduced to automate the testing of 80% of their code and auto-deploy into any downstream environment. Quality engineering teams used ?pull' method to deploy code so they could run the test automation scripts. The assessment of their architecture also yielded other opportunities to reduce the codebase by almost 24% by utilizing industry provided frameworks in the open source community. As a result, over a 90 day period, TMN was able to realize a 39% decrease in defects. Our team established a 4 week delivery cadence for their entire portfolio thus streamlining operations.
ESRG(US Navy contract):Architecture assessment and re-engineering/re-tooling effort, resulted in 75% increase in build-automation resulting in reductions of build/deploy times from 4 hours to 40 minutes. Adoption of SAFe-like practices (synchronized Scrum-of-Scrums), enabled Agile teams to settle on velocity metrics of approximately 28-30 story points/Sprint, increasing estimation accuracies by over 80%. Our teams significantly streamlined their throughput lowering their defect rates on a per-deployment basis by over 60%. Our team worked with ESRG's to deploy their software into the new Navy battleship fleet. Our team assisted in the planning, analysis, design, implementation of SBIR functionality until team merged with eRM overall program. Our team established a 6 week delivery cadence for their entire portfolio thus streamlining operations.
