  • Duties included preparing civil engineering design plans for roadway and interstate projects.
  • Managing the design phase of US 301, Hillsborough County, FDOT District 7.
  • The US 301 Project was 4-mile roadway improvement project on from south of SR 674 (Sun City Center Blvd) to south of Balm Road in Hillsborough County.
  • The proposed roadway design involved widening a 2-lane roadway to a 6-lane divided highway with a curbed median, flush 8-foot shoulders, a 5-foot sidewalk on one side and a 12-foot multi-use path on the other side.
  • As Assistant Project Manager, led the design effort for the 10-mile widening project of a 2-lane US 301 to a 6-lane highway.
  • Project was in Hillsborough County, FL.
  • The client was FDOT District 7.
  • The project limits were from south of Balm Road to north of Gibsonton Dr./ Boyette Rd.
  • General Engineering Consultant support for FDOT District 7.
  • Responsibilities included assisting FDOT with their work program, preparing job cost estimates, construction estimates, and field reviews of future projects.

  • Interchange Design Build Criteria Package, Lutz, FL in Hillsborough County.
  • Managed production of conceptual plans for a new folded diamond interchange.
  • Served as Project Engineer on a PD&E for a segment of the Florida Turnpike in Hollywood, FL.
  • The Sheridan Street (CR822) overpass study (PD&E) evaluated several alternatives for Sheridan Street over the Florida Turnpike.

  • Project was a $1.2 billion Design-Build Project that consisted of reconstruction of 17 mi.
  • of two interstate highways (I-25 & I-225), as well as construction of 19 mi.
  • of new light rail transit (LRT) line, and 13 new LRT stations.
  • My responsibilities included roadway geometric design, interchange design and details associated with interchange layout, design of cross street improvements and widening, plans production, inroads design, QA/QC (ISO 9001), and cadd work.
  • Roadway Studies Lead Project Design Engineer for the US 31 Improvement Project (EIS); Hamilton County, Indiana.
  • My responsibilities on this corridor study included; design of preliminary alternative alignments, alignment analysis and screening, horizontal and vertical geometric design interchanges and cross streets, cross section design and modification, preliminary drainage design, right-of-way, maintenance of traffic, construction cost estimating, coordination with the client and subconsultants, attending public meetings, attending stakeholder meetings, EIS document preparation, and authoring Engineer's Report.
  • Served as the Lead Roadway Engineer for the US 31 Kokomo Bypass (EIS), Howard County, Indiana.
  • This project was very similar to the other US 31 project and my responsibilities on this corridor study were the same as mentioned above.
  • Served as the Lead Roadway Engineer for the SR 431 EA Project, Carmel, IN.
  • My responsibilities on this corridor study included coordination with the client and subconsultants, attending public meetings, attending stakeholder meetings, and EA document preparation.
  • Served as a Project Engineer for the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project, Louisville, KY.
  • My responsibilities on this very large and high profile corridor study included roadway geometric design, interchange design and details associated with interchange layout, plans production, inroads design and cadd work.
