Apron Rehabilitation Phase 4, Henry Rohlsen Airport, St.Croix, USVI
- I served as the Resident Project Representative for Phase 4 of the Air Carrier Apron. The project consists of 3” nominal milling of approximately 26,000 SY of existing asphalt aprons and the replacement of milled areas with approximately 4,500 tons of new 3” new bituminous surface course. The project also includes re-marking portions of the apron. The portion of the work is within the movement area requiring coordination with the Tower and partial closure of Taxiway A.
Apron Rehabilitation Phase 3, Henry Rohlsen Airport, St.Croix, USVI
- I served as the Resident Project Representative for Phase 3 of the Air Carrier Apron. The project consisted of variable depth milling of approximately 10,000 SY of existing asphalt aprons and taxilanes, and the replacement of milled areas with approximately 1,500 tons of new 2”-3” new bituminous surface course. The project also included the removal and replacement of approximately 4,000 SY of existing Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) and minor drainage and marking improvements.
New Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Facility, Henry Rohlsen Airport, St.Croix, USVI
- I served as the Resident Project Representative for a portion of the project.
- The project involved the inspection of the vertical construction of the ARFF building; new airside ARFF vehicle parking apron; landside access road and vehicular parking; utilities (water, sewer, power, data); and, security fencing and gates.
- In addition, the project included an airside roadway to extend from the ARFF to Taxiway A.
Apron and Taxiways Reconstruction, Venice Municipal Airport, Venice, FL
- I served as a Design Engineer and the Resident Project Representative for this project. The project included the reconstruction and expansion of the existing north apron and the mid-field apron. The north apron concrete pavement was replaced with new asphalt pavement. The mid-field apron was reconstructed using full-depth reclamation of the existing asphalt pavement. I was involved in the design and plan preparation for this project and was on-site full-time during construction. The project included a new layout for taxilanes, tie-downs, a new compass rose, and minor signage and electrical.
SOUTH CELL LOT AND PARKING, ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ORLANDO, FL
- I served as a designer creating quantity analysis and quantity tabulation. Responsibilities included design incorporation of technical specifications related to markings, pavement thicknesses, and grading for stormwater management.
RUNWAY INCURSION MITIGATION, SARASOTA BRADENTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY, SARASOTA, FL
- I served as a Designer. His responsibilities included quantity analysis/tabulation and quantity book development. I designed unique, aircraft-specific turning movements that were modeled using 3D software to minimize the footprint of the taxiway area, as well as providing multiple taxiway configuration alternatives to determine the most efficient and economical layout based on the anticipated fleet of the client.
TAXIWAY C REHABILITATION, ALBERT WHITTED AIRPORT, ST. PETERSBURG, FL
- I served as a Designer for the Taxiway “C” Rehabilitation project at SPG. The project involved plan development, quantity analysis/tabulation, and estimates. Additionally, the project was permitted through SWFWMD and “Impervious Credits” were noted within the permit for the net reduction in pavement. These credits are available for future pavement expansion projects at the airport.
APRON REHABILITATION, PHASE 2, HENRY E. ROHLSEN AIRPORT, ST. CROIX, USVI
- I served as a Resident Project Representative for a portion of the 8,000 SY concrete apron project. This project included complete demolition and reconstruction of the concrete apron in addition to milling and overlay of a portion of the asphalt apron.
