Versed in planning, directing, assigning, leading a branch (12) of cartographers and data stewards to support the Defense Department and Intelligence Community with geospatial products (maps and charts). Desires a challenging role as a part-time salesman for a customer-focused bicycle shop.
As a cyclist, I have been involved with all aspects of cycling. I commute to work, raced on numerous cycling teams from 1977 to 2006, toured on single to multi-day tours, both supported and self supported. Kept up on the current cycling equipment, bikes and clothing trends.
Currently, as a cartographic supervisor, I plan, direct, assign, lead and monitor work of a cartographic branch (12 people). My typical functions includes leadership, negotiation, representing NGA to internal and external organizations, policy interpretation, providing technical briefings to various audiences, complex problem solving, personnel management, mentoring and communicating management goals and policies.
