While managing my own kitchen I successfully reduced food costs by over 30% while maintaining a small labor turn around rate. I successfully rewrote and produced the bar menu as well.  I ran an upscale bar and restaurant, creating cocktail menus and managing staff. I did all of the liquor ordering as well as inventory control and scheduling. We worked with a lot of deadlines, as we hosted a large number of events. I successfully worked with the city of Moorhead attorneys, as well as law enforcement, and city planners while I hosted the first "Rare Beer Picnic" to take place in the FM area.  I was voted the Best Mixologist of Fargo/Moorhead in 2016 and 2017, in the High Plains Readers Best of the Best Awards.  I also Placed in the top 8 among hundreds of bars and Restaurants in the Fargo Moorhead area in High Plains Readers Cocktail Showdown three years in a row.  I took runner up 2 years at the Bartenders Battle, and 3rd place another year.  I have taught courses in Craft Cocktails as well as being interviewed for articles in local papers regarding the art of the cocktail.
