Summary

After spending the last fifteen plus years working as an Entertainment Production Manager with two different cruise companies and I feel it is time to give back to the educational environment and share what I have experienced. I have high standards for the theatre’s and venues on the different vessels I was aboard and I made sure that they and all performances were at the highest standards. I’m a forward thinker and see the larger picture in operations with planning for the upcoming events. The world of theatrical production is always evolving, and I was luckily to work with some high end equipment and effects and I am always looking to expand on my knowledge. Ship contracts were typically six months in duration and a final written review and face to face end of contact meeting took place with each performer and technical staff member under my supervision. I have seen to the overall operational needs of the shows and assigned the number of technical personal required form running each event. I used to placing orders for consumables, with advanced time tables for getting them out to an international traveling vessel. Before my time at sea I had direct dealings with members of IASTE, working in a union house and doing over hire calls.
